Mrs. Jessica Oughton holds her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Mrs. Oughton graduated with her Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mrs. Oughton is a licensed clinical social worker, associated as credentialed by the Board of Social Work (#P91041).

Jessica provides individual therapy sessions to those ready to enhance their mental well-being. She often utilizes a person-centered approach while combining other techniques such as play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. She primarily works with the ages of 10 and older. She is able to provide a level of diverse therapeutic methods determining on the clients direct needs. Jessica believes it is not her job to judge or fix an individual, but to empower an individual’s healing process to enhance an individual’s life experiences. This can be done by understanding the clients direct needs, setting boundaries, developing self-awareness, and gaining control over one’s life. Jessica’s goal as your potential therapist is for you to not feel alone in this world, in this therapeutic space your feelings are valid and your voice will be heard.
