Jackson Streitwieser

Jackson graduated with his Master’s degree in clinical counseling from East Carolina University in 2019. He has dual licensure in both mental health counseling and addiction/substance abuse treatment. Jackson has worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations, ranging from inpatient to outpatient, and group and individual therapy.

Jackson primarily sees adults age 18 and over. He uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as his primary treatment modality, and integrates elements of Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT.) Though Jackson has expertise and licensure in addiction as well as a wide range of mental health concerns, Jackson is particularly passionate about treating mood disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, phobias, OCD, and social anxiety; additionally, he enjoys treating stress from life changes, low self-esteem, coping with strong emotions, and anger management. Jackson offers telehealth appointments on Monday and Wednesday, and in person sessions on Tuesday and Thursday.
